Artwork Requirements

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

For the majority of our print processes we require vector artwork in the following formats

  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
  • EPS (Postscript Level 1 or 2)
  • Adobe PDF

Please convert all fonts to outlines and embedd all images.

Note…Saving a JPG to EPS in Photoshop does not make it a vector EPS. A redraw is needed.

If you are unable to supply your logo in the preferred format, do not worry, we can redraw it for you. You just need to send us what you have – it will just incur an additional one off cost to do so (we will quote you on viewing the artwork). As part of the fee, we will supply you with a copy of the file for your future use.

ARTWORK PROOFING

A proof of artwork will be supplied by email. The proof must be approved if artwork is correct. Printing will not proceed until authorisation on final artwork is received. If changes are required simply supply these for a revised proof.

ALL CARE IS TAKEN BUT NO RESPONSIBILITY ACCEPTED. In approving artwork you are taking liability for any errors in both layout and colour.

COLOUR MATCHING

Many of our printing process cannot exactly match PMS Colour Systems.  We do endeavour to match any provided PMS colours as closely as current technology allows

ARTWORK DETAILS

Please supply any specific details for artwork, in particular:

  • Desired colours,
  • artwork positions or logo requirements,
  • required corrections or colour changes.

Printing terminology can be confusing, as there are a lot of different ways you can brand your product.  Options available will depend on the type and finish of your chosen product, along with whatever printing methods are compatible.

Please click on the terms below and we will try to explain it for you!
